Home beta invites have been sent out to lucky PS3 owners. The interesting fact here is that it was an invite but not a guarantee to get into the beta. We here at technobabble have received our invites and will make information available to you when we can (we are under a NDA right now). The invites are being sent out to Gamer Advisory Panel members for the moment, according to Engadget.
Home is Sony’s answers to Microsoft’s Live system for the 360 and soon for platforms including the PC and mobile devices. Home is a mix between Second Life, There, the Sims, and some aspects of XBOX Live. You will be able to hang out with friends, play games with them and even check out your trophies from games that you play on the Playstation 3.
